Ms. LaTasha Dandy
General Manager, Space Dominance Space and Airborne Systems
LaTasha Dandy is the General Manager of Space Dominance within the Space Systems sector in the Space and Airborne Systems Segment of L3Harris Technologies. Space and Airborne Systems provides mission solutions for space and airborne domain with defense, intelligence and commercial applications.
Dandy assumed the role in November 2024, reporting to the vice president and general manager of the Surveillance Systems Division. She is responsible for revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, technology development and operational improvements, as well as cost control for its $320M+ portfolio.
Previously, Dandy served as the agile missions portfolio director with profit & loss (P&L) responsibility spanning hosted payloads and small sat deployments to space.
Prior to that, she served as the Special Missions Director overseeing a portfolio of programs with P&L responsibility spanning ground EW support and directed energy as well as she served as the deputy general manager of the RF Systems Division providing leadership and guidance support to the RF family of programs including GPS III, space antennas, and hosted payloads in her previous role.
Dandy joined L3Harris in 2018 as a Program Manager with P&L responsibility for the F-35 Sustainment Portfolio within the Airborne Combat Systems sector.
Before joining L3Harris, Dandy was a Project Manager with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics where she held positions of increasing responsibility spanning Engineering, Supply Chain, Risk Management and Program/Project Management, both Domestic and International.
She has been recognized on national platforms for not only her work in the community but also as a diverse ability advocate for others.
Dandy has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Tennessee State University and a master’s degree in systems engineering from Southern Methodist University.
