I am a K-12 educator, can I bring my students to the Youth Expo Day?

Yes! You can register yourself and your classroom with the online registration form for our Youth Expo Day.  Please have your students’ legal guardian fill out the photo release form prior to arriving.

What will be provided at the event?

On Professional Day, we’ll be providing refreshments and a boxed lunch. We’ll have a spread of snacks and water for the STEM Youth Expo Day.

Is this symposium only for women?

WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering) encourages all genders to participate, value, and pursue science, technology, engineering and math related courses in school or college and move on into related careers and progress.

When is the Women in Science and Engineering conference?

4 March 2025 is the Professional Day where we’re hosting a array of speakers from industry and the DoD.  5 March, AFTAC’s DV Day, will be held at AFTAC on Patrick Space Force Base, FL. The 6th is our STEM Youth Expo day where exhibitors have interactive demonstrations geared toward a K-12 audience. Those with an SCI Clearance are welcome to attend.  Please contact us through the registration site to coordinate this visit.

What is the conference address?

The Professional and STEM Youth Expo Days will be held at the Space Coast Health Foundation (1100 Rockledge Blvd, Rockledge, FL 32955). 

What can I expect at the STEM Expo?

The WiSE STEM Expo will feature STEM and innovation exhibitors with a wide array of academic, professional, and leadership experience. Students will have the opportunitity to see exciting STEM demontrations, engage with inspiring professionals, ask questions, gain mentorship, and participate in activities, network with other students, and enter into a STEM team-building competition. The expo is targeted at ages 5-18, but all are welcome. 

How much does this symposium cost to attend?

Registration is free! Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the Professional day. Snacks and water will be provided on the STEM Youth Expo Day.

Where can I park?

Parking is available for free at the Space Coast Health Foundation (1100 Rockledge Blvd, Rockledge, FL 32955). Carpooling is encouraged, but there will be personnel directing attendees to overflow parking across the street.
