Director of Engineering

Angela Lamb

Angela Lamb is the Director of Engineering for Harris Corporation. Her responsibilities include establishing and improving engineering processes and tools; defining and driving productivity and quality measures; developing and enhancing technical career paths aligned with Harris’ growth strategies; identifying and managing technology partnerships with other companies and suppliers; and promoting the disciplined execution of projects within cost, schedule and technical constraints.

Most recently, Lamb was Director of Engineering for Harris Corporation’s Critical Networks segment, where she was responsible for the oversight and management of tactical and strategic engineering resources for the segment, including internal research and development, capital and staffing to ensure alignment with business growth strategies.

Prior to that, Lamb held multiple functional, profit and leadership positions across the company. These include engineering manager, supporting the Harris Business Excellence organization serving the front end of the business, and program manager.

Before joining Harris, Lamb was a Software Engineer for Lockheed Martin for space launch operations and range safety programs at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). She also volunteers for science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education initiatives.

Lamb holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the University of Wyoming and a Project Management Professional certification.
